Jammy Media:
Building a Website

Despite the temptation to use a simple website builder, I took the time to develop a responsive, fast-loading, easy-to-use website from the grounds up. In my current working role, I have developed my programming and web development ability and wanted to create my own website to demonstrate what I have learnt.

JammyMedia is a portfolio site where I can display my working achievements and personal projects. This space is the perfect place to express my creativity and technical capabilities.

If you want to find out more about how I created this website, please read more in the via the article link below.

Jammy Media &
Bad Wolf Gaming

Following the creation of my website, I wanted to use my knowledge to help real businesses. I just needed the opportunity to arise where I could offer my helping hand.

Through a work colleague who mentioned that Bad Wolf Gaming needed their website revamping, I approached their managing director and offered my services.

I am currently in the process of working on this site in a staging environment to improve various aspects of the site. I will be using html, javascript and css for this project. See how the site has progressed in the article below.

HowCodingWorks:
The Basics of Coding

<HCW> is being used to educate beginner web-developers and script-writers on platforms such as TikTok and YouTube.

Primarily, the focus is on the basics of web-development and how coding actually works! This is done through video tutorials and good-to-know things about website development.

TikTok and YouTube was the correct audience for the type of content I wanted to make with HowCodingWorks. It's not always about views, I wanted people who were searching for tutorials or quick tips and tricks to be easily find these things in a couple of seconds.

Fun fact, I came up with the idea for HowCodingWorks at the gym! If you want to learn more about HowCodingWorks and how it helps other web developers with their learning and self-progression, read more about my experience with coding at the very beginning of my digital career.

Napoli:
Takeaway Box Designs

This project involved a local takeaway asking me to design some new takeaway boxes for them. At first, with no 3D modelling experience, I was hesitant to take on this job, however, I thought that it was eventually time to give it a real go!

With complete honesty, I had no idea what to use to model a box. It's a simple shape, I thought, it's only a cuboid! So I resorted to the trusty Adobe Suite to try and find a piece of software that could help me out. First I used Illustrator to model the graphics and then used Adobe Dimension to model the boxes.

I have included this piece in my portfolio so that others can learn that there are ways to complete simple 3D modelling jobs without using a top-end piece of software and having next to no skill with 3D modelling. Find out more in the article below.
